Brian's Scrapbook

He wanted everything scanned and a photo book created to tell his story in such a way that brought life to the old, faded documents.  It was also difficult to enjoy them in the scrapbook as they were no longer secure and not in the best condition.

In Brian's earlier days, he played football at a high level, and in particular, he wanted his football journey to be highlighted. This included old team photos, letters of invitation from clubs, match booklets and newspaper articles.

I carefully scanned all of the memorabilia that was in the scrapbook, and with the digitised images, created a photo book that showcased Brian's achievements as a young man. I used coloured backgrounds to highlight various documents, such as certificates and letters. I used quotes from various newspaper articles to add interest to the front cover.

Brian was delighted wtih the end product and was so happy to have a photo book that he was able to show his family and friends - something he was previously unable to do with his old scrapbook.
