African Adventure

Marie's vision was to showcase the best of their photos to display on the wall of their home - a visual reminder of not only the South African animals and scenery, but also the precious family time they shared together. She knew that if she didn't do this, they'd be lost on their computer without really being enjoyed.

It mattered to Marie that the photos they took were professionally processed and edited, and that the final images chosen were not only the best of the best, but were similar in colour and tone. She wanted a montage that worked well in her living space and chose a square format.

Marie transferred her digital photos to me via a cloud service, and I went through the process of processing and editing them, to make them look their best.  I then curated them down to a smaller number. From there, I designed a montage using only eight of the curated photos. They all worked well together in terms of colour, and showcased the amazing animals and beautiful sunsets. The montage was professionally printed and framed.

When Marie was presented with the final product, she was so happy and described a feeling of warmth that overcame her. She loved showing it to her family, who didn't know it was being done. One of her sons was particularly chuffed, being the person who had taken most of the photos! It's now displayed on the wall of their living room and they are so happy to have a beautiful keepsake of their holiday.
